The A+W•NZ Wellington team held their first 'Speed-Mentoring' event at the offices of Studio Pacific Architecture on 28 October, 2015. A group of architects got together for short, fast and concise discussions about how architectural lives are managed: passions, setbacks, goalsd and time mangement skills. Everyone has something to share and offer - no matter what stage of your study or career. You may be 'experienced', a student, in suspension from practice, or working in an allied field, all experiences are helpful and may be just what others are curious about.
The 'speed-dating' format provides many chances to chat about architecture with those you would not otherwise meet - forced chance encounters can lead to impromptu mentoring moments.
