Emily gained her architecture registration in Melbourne, Australia, where she spent the early part of her career after studying architecture at Melbourne University. In 2020 she returned to NZ via India, where she undertook a volunteer architect role. Emily has an interest in designing architecture at a human scale, materiality, earth building, and exhibition design. She is gaining experience in Project Management in her current role.
Looking For a Mentor
I'm a mid career architect, with 2 years working experience in NZ practice, and then took a career break from 2023-2025. I'm looking for a mentor with possible insights into career breaks, maternity leave, and how to navigate the return to work afterwards.
I did my uni study and rego in Australia and now working in NZ, any insights into this would be helpful also.
