After studying architecture at Victoria University I worked with several firms across the Bay of Plenty. 3 years practising in the French Alps broadened my perspective on performance-led design. Now back in NZ, I’ve founded Highfield Architecture and am currently completing my Passive House designer course. Based in Mount Maunganui and working nationwide, Highfield Architecture believes a home should be more than visually striking - it should perform beautifully too. With over a decade of experience, we design beyond Building Code minimums to create healthier, more efficient, and more comfortable homes through thoughtful, collaborative architecture.
Looking For a Mentor
I’m looking for an architecture mentor who can provide guidance on the business side of running a practice. I would like support in refining systems, structuring fee proposals and managing contracts. While I have strong technical design experience, I’m also seeking mentorship to build depth in my own designs. Ideally, I’d like to learn from someone who has successfully built and managed a practice and can offer practical insights and clarity around best business practices as the studio develops.
