After graduating from Auckland University, I practiced, mainly in interior architecture for the hospitality and commercial sectors , in London, Doha, Dunedin and Wellington. In 2002, I joined the Faculty of Architecture + Design at Victoria University. I presently teach Interior Technologies and Professional Practice. My academic research has included investigating environmental shade design for UV protection, patterns of alteration in old pubs and houses as well as past and future interior joinery design systems.
