NZ Registered Architect Practicing
I’m a Registered Architect whose design approach is shaped by a multidisciplinary background in visual arts, public art, and architectural research. My work spans mixed-use, cultural, community, and residential projects, with recent experience in contract administration on a large commercial development. I currently serve as Co-chair of Te Pūtahi Centre for Architecture and City Making, and previously coordinated Auckland’s Festival of Architecture and co-led the networks and newsletter portfolio for A+W NZ. I’m passionate about architecture’s role in fostering connection, creativity, and more vibrant, inclusive urban environments.

Te Pae North Piha Surf Lifesaving Tower

Rising from the black sands of North Piha, the surf tower offers a calm perch above a restless coastline. Its curved concrete form echoes shifting dunes, built off-site to protect the landscape. Robust and understated, it provides lifeguards with clarity, shelter, and a sustainable presence shaped by place and purpose. (Photo: Sam Hartnett)
