Meri Kirihimete from all of us at A+W NZ
BackA+W NZ held our casual Xmas celebration for all the volunteers, supporters and sponsors at The Food Truck on Saturday 1st December. This end of year celebration is our one chance to thank all those who give us so much throughout the year, as well as allowing a moment to reflect on what has been achieved.
As listed in our last newsletter for the year, here is a recap of what we did in 2018, with the help of so many;

On the RESEARCH front, an article on the A+W NZ Dulux Awards programme was published by Parlour, and A+W NZ featured in several articles by others, especially the Diversity Series by Architecturenz. We interviewed NZIA President Christina van Bohemen as she left your two-year tenure, and we continued to add to our ongoing research for the A+W NZ Timeline.
And in 2018, we established a new role in our core team - Kaiurungi - and welcomed Amber Ruckes into the inaugural position.
A big thank you to all who have helped make this possible, including all the architectural practices who recognise the efforts of their practice members involved in A+W NZ projects and events. See you all in 2019!
