Min Hall
Min Hall has been practising architecture in the Nelson region for three decades firstly on her own account and then as co founder of Arthouse Architecture Ltd. She was the first woman to graduate from Victoria University School of Architecture and since then her work has received a number of awards, and has appeared in national magazines. Min was a member of the inaugural NZIA Environmental Group, and was the NZIA representative on the SANZ committee that drafted the 1998 Earth Building Standards. In 2012 she completed a M.Arch research project investigating the performance and potential of earth and straw bale as building materials in New Zealand.
Her practice is now based in Auckland where she also teaches part-time at the Unitec Department of Architecture.
